"The Women Of Asbury Park"

May Show Announcement

The feminine principal in a bi-polar universe manifests in infinite variety. The forms presented in Women Of Asbury Park are drawn from a perspective lent by a lifetime of observation and several years immersion in the heart of the city's business district. They include such disparate figures and textures as the twisted, tortured, plaster Captive and the smooth marble curves of Curbside Madonna.

Monesson's works in stone, metal, plaster, ceramic, and resin range in size from jewelry pieces through life-size to the monumental, and from pure abstract to figurative representation and architectural installations. Juried museum and gallery exhibits include The Monmouth Arts Council Show, Tinton Falls, NJ, Church of the Presidents, Elberon, NJ, Peddy Park, Toms River, NJ, Spectrum Gallery, Pt Pleasant, NJ, Ocean County Artists Guild, Island Heights, NJ, Noyes Museum of Art, Oceanville, NJ, Monmouth Museum at Thompson Park, Lincroft, NJ, Cultural Heritage Show, Ocean County College, Toms River, NJ, Brookdale Community College, Lincroft, NJ, The Greenhouse, Long Branch, NJ, m. Christina Geis Gallery, Georgian Court University, Lakewood, NJ. The Mattison Gallery show will be his third solo exhibit.

The May show was the last in the series of Mattison Gallery presentations.  Since the gallery closed with the closing of the show, I never put the material together in HTML.  I am currently in the process of rectifying that ommission.
Please stop back.
Thank-you
